Time: Saturday, June 18 · 10am - 2pm
Location: Miami SeaQuarium

Facebook Event: https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=209741619056397

We will be protesting outside of Miami SeaQuarium from 10am to 2pm. There will be other events happening in Germany and San Francisco.

From our Friends in Germany:

We need to educate people about the life in captivity. With banners and flyers in front of a dolphin park or simply in your hometown. It would be great, if anyone bring a light to this event. For all the animals that have died in captivity, so that we can show the world our concern about these wonderful animals.

Captivity is not about education or conservation. It´ s just about money. Worldwide suffering hundreds of whales and dolphins in captivity. In ridiculous little tanks with chlorinated water. Some of them, cant even see the sky above them. They die a slowly death in isolation, in a unnaturally created world. They are forced to perform little stupid tricks, accompanied by loud music and enthusiastic spectators. Almost every dolphin is captured from the ocean and often they already die on the way to a dolphin park because of fear, stress and injuries. They are separated from their families and friends, which they will never seen again.

Whenever people look at dolphins they see only the dolphin smile and believe, that they are happy animals. But they are not and some of them commit even suicide, because they can not stand the long captivity.

I hope the day will come soon, where you can find dolphins and whales only in their home, the ocean. So please stand up and fight for them, because they can´t. For ourselves, for the next generation and for a better world....thanks
